Donating Food

 

Donating Food is Easy!

  1. BulletDonate any surplus, unserved foods in good and safe condition, prepared in a licensed facility. (Rachel’s Table cannot accept prepared foods made or stored in a home kitchen.)

  2. BulletWrap foods in secure, transportable packaging.

  3. BulletFreeze foods if appropriate, or chill all perishables to 40 degrees Fahrenheit.

  4. BulletCall Rachel’s Table 24-hour Food Donation Line: 733-9165.

  5. BulletVolunteers will arrange pick-up and delivery to a local emergency feeding program, Sunday through Friday 9AM to Noon.

  6. BulletThe national Good Samaritan Act protects the donor from liability resulting from the use of donated food.
